The Caravan Industry Association of Australia is the peak national tourism body representing the caravan and holiday parks industry and offers a National Accreditation Program.
Accredited caravan holiday parks must comply with certain standards including:
- legal compliance
- environmental management
- customer service and complaint handling
- risk management, emergency and evacuation procedures
- maintenance, cleaning and repairs
Check to see if the caravan holiday park you intend to stay has National Accreditation Program accreditation. A caravan holiday park will display a 'tick' to show they are accredited.
Other parks throughout Australia may be also accredited under different schemes.
